Does alcohol & Marijuana effect sperm counts and conception?

the guy i slept with has smoked weed regularly for over a year and drinks about 4/7 days a week.
is his sperm count lower?
and i drink some and have smoked before, does that lower my chances of concieving?

he did not ejaculate in me.

thanks.

& im not on birth control anymore due to excessive migraines.

KeithSP29 		If he is drunk you cannot get pregnant because the sperm will just swim in circles. If he is high the sperm will eat the egg, not fertilize it.

richdowns 		Well, it can lower his sperm count for sure but it's definitely not a form of birth control or anything. If you're concerned, you should try to get Plan B if it was less that 72 hours ago.

jimmyj 		Yes it most definitely does lower his sperm count but it definitely doesn't mean you can't get pregnant. I mean think about it, all it takes is one little sperm!
